- This photograph may be from N.E. Thing Co.’s conceptual photography project, A Portfolio of Piles, which they exhibited at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery in 1968. As part of this project, Iain and Ingrid Baxter explored the urban and suburban landscape around their home in North Vancouver through Sunday drives with their children and friends. These tours were intended to bring attention to the hidden spaces of capital in the city, and included photographs of piles of sulphur, lumber, rocks, and produce. Photograph Number 42 from the Portfolio, titled “Seek and Ye Shall Find,” is a similar image of breasts, this time shown from above.
