File consists of a press release, price list, correspondences, comment booklet, and slides. The exhibition featured 44 small oil paintings, seemingly random in distribution on the gallery walls. The exhibition marked the first exhibition of work in Vancouver by Toronto artist Janis Vilks. Images were adapted from European print media are reworked, collected, and shuffled. The exhibition ran November 15-December 17, 1988.
