File consists of two folders containing an exhibition pamphlet, press release, receipts, correspondences, newspaper articles, photographs and slides. The exhibition was curated by Reesa Greenberg, Assistant Professor of Art History at Concordia University, Montréal, and circulated by the National Gallery of Canada. The exhibition featured 86 works by Québec artist Alfred Pellan, selected from all periods of his career. Works in graphite, charcoal, ink and various mixed media, in colour and black and white, showing the development of Pellan’s drawing style and its relationship to his paintings. The exhibition ran February 4-28, 1981.
