Scope & Content
File consists of a press release, receipts, catalogue list, exhibition comment booklet, correspondences, loan agreements, photographs, and slides. The exhibition was organized by Ralph Greenhill for the National Gallery of Canada. This exhibition consisted of ten daguerrotypes, two ambrotypes, and seventy-four prints by a dozen of the finest photographers of the period. The exhibition included works by: William Notman, H.L. Hime, Samuel McLaughlin, Alexander Henderson, William England, Ellisson & Co., B.F. Baltzly, L.P. Valleé, William McFarlane Notman, William Haggerty, A.S. Goss, and E.M. Finn. The exhibition ran August 3-27, 1979.
