Students or graduates of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Department at UBC worked on each of the three exhibitions. The first exhibition was organized by Phillip Clarkson who worked on restoring the collection of clothing belonging to the Frederick Wood Theatre. The exhibition featured pieces from the collection. The second exhibition featured photographs by Jim McKenzie, Dale Pickering, and Harry Tonn who had been working together on a grant and photographing the Gulf Islands and Queen Charlotte Islands. The third exhibition was by four young artists: Nettie Adams, Mary Paddon, Susan Waters, and Wayne Smith. The exhibition encompassed a wide variety of media, including fibre sculpture, photography, painting, found object sculpture, collage, and a documentary slide show of the group’s visit to Cape Scott. The three exhibitions ran concurrently at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery from October 15 to November 5, 1975.
