Scope & Content
File consists of two folders containing an exhibition catalogue, exhibition pamphlet, a press release, correspondence, receipts, customs forms, catalogue lists, and newspaper articles. The exhibition featured masks, musical instruments, ceramics, basketware, tinwork, featherwork, and textiles from Mexico and Guatemala. The show ran in conjunction with an exhibition of Jungle Crafts and Folk Art of Ecuador at the Simon Fraser University Art Gallery, and Folk Arts of Peru at the Burnaby Art Gallery. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery February 7 to March 3, 1973.
