Scope & Content

File consists of two folders containing an exhibition catalogue, exhibition pamphlet, a press release, correspondence, receipts, customs forms, catalogue lists, and newspaper articles. The exhibition featured works by British Columbian artists concerned with various arcane subjects, such as alchemy, symbolic philosophy, and mysticism. The exhibition consisted of paintings, drawings, and collages by Giles Foisy, Gary Lee-Nova, Gregg Simpson, David UU, Ed Varney and Jack Wise. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery January 9 to 27, 1973.
