Sound Show (A receiver in which the incoming signal is mixed with a locally generated signal to produce an intermediate frequency which is amplified and detected a second time to produce the audio frequency)

File consists of correspondence, receipts, comment booklet, and newspaper articles. The exhibition featured experimental noise and sound compositions, performances, and sound/sculpture events. Artists included Dennis Vance, Ian Wallace, Glenn Lewis, Gathie Falk, Django, Murray Schafer, Race Track Gallery Staff Band, Gregg Simpson, Wayne Carr, and Ross Barrett. The exhibition was organized by students in the Fine Arts program and was the third event of the Festival of Contemporary Arts 1970. It was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery from February 25 to March 14, 1970.
