File consists of two folders containing an exhibition catalogue, posters, press release, correspondence, catalogue lists, floor plans, newspaper articles, and slides. The exhibition featured sculptures by Dewain Valentine, who was concerned with the inside as well as the outside of his sculpture. He worked primarily with transparent medium, allowing the viewer to "go through" his sculpture, thus bypassing the conventional "walking around" means of looking at three dimensional art. The exhibition was shown at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery from October 30 to November 15, 1969.
