Space Place file

File consists of one catalogue for the exhibition Space Place held at the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, November 28 to December 24, 1966. Agis and Peter Jones, who worked together from the mid 60s to the late 70s creating abstract walk through spaces, collaborated on this project. According to the artists’ statement in the catalogue, Space Place was an attempt to demonstrate the idea that space is a place for people. Further, "[t]he development of this idea is to construct places outside the imposed limits of art galleries and existing buildings."
