Robert Weghsteen

Weghsteen was born in Belgium in 1929 and established himself as a ceramic artist and muralist after he moved to Vancouver. He was president of the British Columbia Potters and Guild and taught at the Vancouver School of Art. He had numerous commissions including the Nanaimo Hospital mural in 1966 and the Vancouver International Airport brick core mural in 1969.
