Claudia Cuesta

Claudia Cuesta (Colombian, b. 1954) is a visual artist, teacher and mentor based on the Sunshine Coast, BC. Though she is primarily a sculptor, she often integrates sound, video, performance and painting into her practice. Cuesta's work explores the impact of manufactured belief systems to assert the ambiguity of identity through simple forms and diverse materials.
