Item is a poster for the Western Front’s film presentation of documentation of the Decca Dance. The films include The DeccaDance by Kerry Colonna; Surfacing the Subliminal by Lady Brute (Kate Craig), Byron Black, and Mr. Peanut (Vincent Trasov); and Blocking by Byron Black, Mr. Peanut, and General Idea (AA Bronson, Felix Partz, and Jorge Zontal). The poster contains text on the verso with an image on the front of Dr. Brute’s (Eric Metcalfe’s) leopard skin saxophone in three repeating images beside three other images (possibly of an installation at the Decca Dance). The item was sent to Kenneth Coutts-Smith at Gallery One One One.
