The Fluxus Constellation

Item is a catalogue for an exhibition of Fluxus artists held at the Museo d'Arte Contemporanea di Villa Croce in Genoa February 15 to June 16, 2002, curated by Sandra Solimano. The artists included in the exhbition are: Eric Andersen, Ay-O, Joseph Beuys, George Brecht, Giuseppe Chiari, Philip Corner, Jean Dupuy, Robert Filliou, Henry Flynt, Ken Friedman, Al Hansen, Geoffrey Hendricks, Dick Higgins, Joe Jones, Milan Knizak, Alison Knowles, Arthur Kopcke, George Maciunas, Jackson MacLow, Larry Miller, Charlotte Moorman, Yoko Ono, Robin Page, Nam June Paik, Ben Patterson, Takako Saito, Carolee Schneemann, Serge III, Daniel Spoerri, Ben Vautier, Wolf Vostell, Bob Watts, Emmett Williams, and La Monte Young. The volume contains texts by Eric Andersen, Francesco Conz, Philip Corner, Gino Di Maggio, Hannah Higgins, Henry Martin, Enrico Pedrini, Sandro Ricaldone, and Ben Vautier. The item is accompanied by a schedule of events for the exhibition, and three texts: "An open letter to the remaining 1st and 2nd generation Fluxus" (Allen Bukoff, 2005); "Text on the Fluxus" (Ben Vautier, 1997), and a conversation between Larry Miller and George Maciunas in Hungarian.
