Item is a boxed set of facsimile reprints of the full run of FILE megazine, from 1972 to 1989, bound in six volumes and published by JRP Ringier. The first volume includes six issues: Mr. Peanut Issue, Manipulating the Self Issue, Eye of the Shadow Issue, Special Double Issue, IFEL Special Paris Issue, and Mondo Nudo Issue. The second volume includes five issues: Annual Artists' Directory Issue, Glamour Issue, New York City Edition Issue, Special People Issue, and Punk 'Til You Puke! Issue. The third volume includes six issues: 1984 A Year in Pictures Issue, Special Trangressions Issue, Special Global Downtown Issue, Foreign Agents Issue, Special $ucce$ [Success] Issue, The Re-materialization of the Art Object Issue. The fourth volume includes five issues: X Ray Sex Issue, Special General Idea Issue-Mondo Cane Kama Sutra, General Idea's 1984 and the 1968-1984 FILE Retrospective Issue, Diane Frankenstein Issue, and Sex, Drugs, Rock 'N' Roll and Art & Text Issue. The fifth volume includes two issues: Artnews Issue and The Journal of the New Mortality Issue. The sixth volume includes two issues: The Journal of the New Art Market Issue and Final Issue, The City Issue.
