General Idea postcard

Item is a commercial postcard of St. Clair Station, Toronto, sent by Michael [Tims or AA Bronson] to Image Bank. It is inscribed on the verso "(TOUR DE FORCE)", and the message reads "Dear Image Bank - // Please note re Image Bank mailing, all General Idea material is compliments of the General. We only follow orders. Please eradicate file 'Michael Tims', replace with 'General Idea'. I have been severely reprimanded by the General. // Michael". The postcard image is a collaged image made of two different sized but otherwise identical images of a subway train marked "Union Stn" on the track in a station marked "St Clair". The smaller image is adhered to the surface of the larger image, in the centre. The image caption on the verso reads "St. Clair Station, // World's Most Modern Subway, // Toronto, Ontario, Canada.".
