Object Description

Item is an exhibition catalogue for a solo exhibition of the work of Eric Metcalfe, organized by the Southern Alberta Art Gallery and the Kamloops Art Gallery. The catalogue contains a foreword by Hector Williams, and an essay by Peter White. The exhibition included pottery and works on paper from Metcalfe's project of recreating Greek pottery of the Attic period. The exhibition traveled to the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, Lethbridge; the Maltwood Museum and Art Gallery, Victoria; the Kamloops Art Gallery; and the Canadian Craft Museum, Vancouver, between 2000 and 2002. The catalogue is inscribed "To Michael M. // with best wishes // love Eric" on the title page.
