Object Description

Item is a copy of the printing negative for the first page of the October 30, 1970, edition of the Vancouver Sun. A photograph of Vincent Trasov signing his nomination papers for mayor while dressed as Mr. Peanut is captioned "Peanut Candidate", with the full story appearing on p. 24. Also included is a headline dated November 5, 1974, reading: "Other Mayoral Hopefuls Spar: Mr. Peanut Taps Out His Message".
