Object Description

Item is a bound calendar notepad, self-published by Eli Raman. The box is cardboard and had a page adhered to the top. The page is inscribed, dated and signed in graphite: '366 VARIATIONS FOUR (1972) // A Book of Changes and Optic Omens // 17/50 E. Raman '71'. The back of the box has an Image Bank stamps with the Image Bank address. The sheets of the notepad are representations of calendar days, with the year, month, date and the day of the week designed as optical illusions.
