Object Description
Item is a periodical titled "Studio International: journal of modern art" from October of 1968, published by Cory, Adams & Mackay Limited in London. It is volume 176, number 904. The front cover has an image of a snarling hyena wearing a top hat and war medal around its neck, standing in a field of corpses. In the upper left corner is written "October 1968", "10 shillings/ $1.50 U.S.". Followed by the title: text half black and half red. On the right hand side "phillip", "philip" is written in blue ballpoint pen. The spine has the title and date. The back cover has a wireframe seated man, with a red text reading "First edition all sold. Second edition now avilable - ORDER NOW" in a rectangular frame. The bottom half of the cover has several short paragraphs about the edition of the periodical, and information on how to order copies. The periodical contains black and white, and colour photographs, as well as text. Some of the pages are sage in colour.
