Object Description

Item is a scientific poster titled "The Conquest of Space" printed in 1969. The front of the poster has details about various satellites orbiting the earth at the time the poster was printed. The words "colour, light, & communication but still no answers..." are painted on top of the poster with a border of question marks. On the left side of the border it reads "Christian Cavellin, Sweden". The verso of the poster shows a map of the satellites orbiting earth, the moon, mars, and venus with colour coded lines representing the nations that launched them.
