Object Description

Item is a poster for the Carnival Ball presented by the Bay Area Brasilian Club at the Galleria in San Fransisco. The event features "The Brazilian All Star Big Band directed by Celia Malheiros. There is a drawing of a person wearing fruit on their head and a cartoon banana holding a parasol. The top of the poster has a header which reads "Yes, we have some bananas". The poster was collected by Anna Banana as part of her Encyclopaedia Bananica project, and displayed at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria in 2015.
