Object Description: Item is a lab coat made by Anna Banana for her performances of Proof Positive Germany is Going Bananas. Banana wore this lab coat as Dr. Anna Freud Banana to lecture and survey participants. She also wore the coat for her presentation of her findings at the International Society for Humor Studies Conference in Ithaca, New York in 1994. The coat is made of white fabric and has a patch that reads "Specific Research Canada" sewn onto it.
