Item is a video tape containing interviews with Doris Shadbolt, Diana Augaitis, Scott Watson, Abraham Rogatnick, Christos Dikeakos, Sherri Grauer, Michael Morris, and Jeff Wall for the work Those Days... A Portrait of Doris Shadbolt. The work was created in 2002 as a collaboration between the Western Front and the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, and was directed by Karen Henry. This tape contain 27 minutes of video. Those Days... A Portrait of Doris Shadbolt focuses on Shadbolt's activities at the Vancouver Art Gallery and features interviews with her in her 80s, reflecting on art and the times, combined with commentary from artists and curators whom which she inspired.
