Object Description
Item is several sets of text for a work by Laiwan called Ubiquitous China, which appears to be the first iteration of the artwork that became part of distance of distinct vision / point éloigné de vision claire. The content of the text is different from what was included as part of the publication distance of distinct vision / point éloigné de vision claire and the exhibition of the same name. There are 4 sets of papers as part of this item: a set of collaged mockups of the text (3 pages), a set of photocopies in various sizes and orientations (21 pages), a set of laminated texts (9 pages), and one set that has been glued to boards (3 pages). The English text was translated into Chinese by Sylvie Liu, and into French by Raymond Robitaille.
