Object Description

Item is a set of blueprints for the U.B.C. Armoury that have been annotated and had a piece of paper with additional notes attached to it. The blueprints and notes were made in preparation for an exhibition held at the U.B.C. Armoury, titled The Medium is the Message, also colloquially called The Armouries Show. The exhibition was held from February 3 to 5, 1965 as part of the Festival of Contemporary Arts for that year. The show was facilitated by the UBC Fine Arts Gallery, now the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, and prepared by Helen Goodwin, Iain Baxter, David Orcutt, Cortland Hultber, Abraham Rogantick, Takao Tanabe, Alvin Balkind, Sam Perry, Roy Kiyooka, and Helen Sonthoff.
