Object Description

Item is a poster for an exhibition held at the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, Luis Jacob: A Dance for Those of Use Whose Hearts Have Turned to Ice, and Other Works, from October 26 to December 2, 2007. The front of the poster shows a photograph of Jacob during a performance, and the reverse has text in what appears to Krio. The Opening reception for the exhibition was on Thursday, October 25, from 8 to 10 pm, and Jacob gave an Artist talk on the same day at 7 pm. There was also a Guest Lecture delivered on Friday, November 2 at 1 pm by Dr. Allan Antliff from the University of Victoria titled Queer Art / Queer Anarchy.
