Object Description

Item is a poster for an exhibition held at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery, now the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, from March 20 to April 11, 1970. The exhibition was titled "Japanese Culinary Pop" and featured wax models of food commonly displayed in popular restaurants in Japan. The poster has text in both English and French, which credits The National Gallery of Canada for their contribution from 1970 to 1971, and that the exhibition was organized by Alvin Balkind of the UBC Fine Arts Gallery.
