Object Description
Item is a poster for an exhibition held at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery, now the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, from March 20 to April 11, 1970. The exhibition was titled "Japanese Culinary Pop" and featured wax models of food commonly displayed in popular restaurants in Japan. The exhibition was created in collaboration with the Kokusai Bunka Shinkokai (Japan Cultural Society) of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Teiji Itoh selected and curated the exhibition in Tokyo.
