Object Description
Item is a poster for two exhibitions held at the UBC Fine Arts Gallery, now the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, from May 21 to April 6, 1968. The first exhibition on the poster is "The Transformation of Space" which was loaned by the Smithsonian Institute, and organized by Duncan Stuart from the North Carolina State University School of Design and Dr. Arthur Loeb from the Ledgemont Laboratory and the Carpenter Centre for the Visual Arts. The second exhibition is "Centennial Suite", originally presented Simon Fraser University and organized as a Centennial gift by the Centre for Communications and the Arts at SFU. The exhibition was a series of 13 prints by 13 B.C. artists: Maxwell Bates, Iain Baxter, B.C. Binning, Claude Breeze, Audrey Capel Doray, Brian Fisher, John Korner, Michael Morris, Toni Onley, Jack Shadbolt, Gordon Smith, Joel Smith, and Takao Tananbe.
