Object Description

Environmental Opera Solstice Event (June 21, 1989) is a video that documents the memorial performance of Helen Goodwin’s original Environmental Opera, created and performed by Goodwin and her dance troupe TheCo. (which included Evelyn Roth) in the same location at Spanish Banks on June 21, 1971. This video, which was directed by Evelyn Roth, produced by Ed Varney and filmed by Paul Wong, includes footage of Evelyn Roth, Ed Varney, Gerry Gilbert, Elemental Opera and Hildegard Westerkamp, among others.
