Object Description

Item is video documenting Environmental Opera Solstice Event, a performance and score work originally conceived by Helen Goodwin in 1971, both events took place at the beach on Spanish Banks. Evelyn Roth directed the work, filmed four years after Goodwin's death. Item contains footage and performances by Anna Banana, David Fogel and the Galiano Trio, Cymbali, Ed Varney, Gerry Gilbert, Hildegard Westerkamp, Norbert Ruebsaat and ensemble, Ralf Kelman, David Bouvier, and The Gaia Club.
