Object Description
Item is an uncut sheet of 16 postcards for the Image Bank Post Card Show. It is single-sided, with black and white images on recto, and no attribution information. The 16 images are: a line drawing of a capital letter "G", and a hand poking the rear of.a goose; a photograph of two men wearing denim jeans and shirts, with denim shirts collaged in front, possibly an advertisement; an image of an armless sculpture of a woman, to which has been added a black bikini or bra and underwear, and a schematic drawn to create a paper doll; a photographic collage of a nude woman against the backdrop of a building advertising "BLOOD BANK"; an unidentified film still; a crude caricature of two bound women; a collage of two roulette wheels; two line drawings of cartoonish animals; a photograph of clouds with the words "Representation # 9" overlaid, in typesetting and handwriting; a line drawing of cows; a photograph of a man in uniform, with a prominent tattoo on his arm; a black and white diagram of a maze, with a sphere sketched in the centre; a collage with the words "PRACTITIONER DISPENSING OPIUM, COCA LEAVES, ETC." along the bottom; a woodcut image with the words "SKATE BAIT" incorporated, attributed to Roth; an image from Eleanor Antin's 100 boots series.
