- Object Description
- "At the time of the Idyll Show you provided the 3 black light fluorescent lights that activated the panels to allow 'body shadow image making'. Originally in the 60's I had the lights programmed to alternate On and Off. When the light was ON, the panel surface that was covered with the body and did not receive the light resulting in a shadow with gradations and the remaining area was activated to a glowing green. When the light turned OFF, the person then stood back to view their dark silhouette which 'slowly' faded away. Then the timed ON / OFF continued to repeat itself. It was 1st presented at the VAG with the panels forming a pentagon with a 2 foot square phosphorescent petal like panel on each side on the floor. The Karen James dancers choreographed a piece incorporating the light pattern and shadows to the sound of a metronome."
