To J.L.S. … for saying you would come sketching by the Fraser River even though I did only ask you 50 or 60 times - for for the times you meant to take my present of home made jam but always had your arms full of books - for laughing at my witty jokes - and then capping them For the many compliments you pay me i.e. "you bush fire" "you flabby sea-lion" etc. For never forgetting I owe you one ice cream come. For - never forgetting I fried an ess in an oniony pan. For - always trying to get to school on time - here's your Hamilton with my best wishes. From Molly
