- Casserole thickly potted with lugged strap side handles, open cylindrical 'knob' thrown to lid, decorative banding of outward radiating scraffito line, engraving bridging glazed central area to unglazed rim area of lid, wide turned foot with recessed interior. Iron spotted coarse red stoneware. Interior warm cream opaque glaze mottled by body speckles, exterior decorated with pattern of linked concentric circles reserved from overglaze pours, much body clay unglazed.
