Object Description: Vase. Above ridged groove at waist cylindrical neck bearing two small strap lugs widens to inturned flattened mouth ring. Lower body shows forceful bamboo knife impressions on two sides and cut bevel to flat base. White stoneware. Thick black glaze (Yukon) of orange peel texture breaking to amber at edges. -Charmian Johnson, 2005
