Object Description: Vase with opposing knob-like squared lugs, mouth rim flattened to extend inward. Exterior showing markings of rib designed form wide bandings, repeated horizontal groovings. Strong cut bevel to flat base. Crushed granite added to grey porcellanous stoneware. Exterior brushed with iron rich clay slip, molten wood ashes overall. -Charmian Johnson, 2005 Studio ceramics
