- Object Description
- Vase of waisted form, upper body cylindrical with inturning mouth ring, lower body cut to square and bevel to base cut square also. Raku fired body burned to black. Iron and copper brushwork over a poured pale pink raku glaze crazed and carbon trapping with straw reduction scorch marks. Firing crack across base has remained stable all these years. Rim has been broken and mended with silicone. -Charmian Johnson, 2005
