Object Description: Jar of ovoid form with knobbed lid set well into its collared mouth rim. Two sides of body flattened and paddle impressed flat base. Raku fired body burned charcoal grey. Raku glaze (silver nitrate) of fleshy pink with overglaze brushwork of yellow ochre melting yellow and copper pigment. Carbon trapped and scorchmarks from grasses apparent.
