Object Description
Iris monoprint
The print is unique. It is an edition of 2, each of which is different. Schneemann uses a collage-transfer technique made famous by her contemporary, Robert Rauschenberg.

Using images from art history and "prints" from her own body, she creates an "anti-diagram" of female sexuality that, of course, opposes Freud's notion of female sexuality as driven by "lack".
