- Object Description
- Kate Craig made the Flying Leopard costume from a leopard hat with ears, a full-length, one-piece leopard bodysuit, a harness, a leopard tail and two black enamelled card wings in the shape of the Hand of the Spirit, a motif that circulated among Image Bank, Toronto's General Idea and other artists in the early 1970s. The costume was worn by Craig for performances documented in photographic and moving image records, such as the 1974 film, Flying Leopard.
