Object Description: Casserole with flanged lid strap handled, lugged strap handles at sides, diagonally decorated impressed medallion at each centre face. Speckled red stoneware. Shino/lustre glaze thick and smoky white crackled to interior and carbon trapping to grey, smoky persimmon exterior. -Charmian Johnson, 2005 Studio ceramics.
