Object Description
Item is a postcard sent from Robert Cumming to Image Bank, (Michael) Morris and Peanut (Vincent Trasov). The card contains a photograph of the Treasure Island gift shop designed to look like a treasure chest. The card is rubber stamped, "Lure of the Sea" and handwritten text on verso reads: "R. Cumming / Lure of the Sea / Hyannis, Mass., 1969. + Real dubloons spilling out from under the lid. Voyeur's delight, having a monster 10' keyhole for entry + exit. A hitherto unforseen structure for the permanent housing of Image Bank + archives. Cumming 8/13/72. -East Coast- Took inventory of the Lure of the Sea archives and there are nearly 40 images worth their salt. Sill have to reprint some of the older shots, though."
