General Idea postcard

Item is an untitled photo-collage postcard by General Idea, sent to Marcel Idea [Michael Morris] by A.A. [Bronson or Michael Tims]. The message reads "Dear Marcel- // We sent the 8 1/2 x 11 copy for Hollywood mailing to Lowell as requested. // Love AA.". The image is made of a collage of two images. One is a photobooth strip showing a man looking upwards in mock awe, adhered to the photo postcard showing a man with his arms raised behind his head. The collage element obscures the lower part of the man's body; the upper part has been overpainted in gold paint or ink. The verso is inscribed "Bulge Event", possibly as a caption for the image.
