Object Description
Item is a volume of illustrations designed by Giovanni Flaxman, and engraved by Tomasso Piroli to accompany Dante's "Divine Comedy." The volume contains 33 numbered plates from the Paradiso, one unnumbered plate at the beginning of the Purgatorio, 38 numbered plates from the Purgatorio, and 38 numbered plates from the Inferno.
