Object Description

Item is a poster entitled "La lutte continue", and depicts a raised fist, jagged teeth and chimney stack. This visual shorthand connects it to the "factory", and the protests surrounding more power for workers in 1968. It was shown in the exhibition Up Against the Wall, Motherposter! at the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, from October 8 to December 19, 1999, and is a copy of an original from 1968.
