Skeena Reece

Skeena Reece (Tsimshian/Gitxsan/Cree) is an artist based on Vancouver Island, BC. Her multidisciplinary practice includes performance, spoken word, humour, “sacred clowning,” writing, singing, songwriting and video. Her work confronts settler colonialism and its consequences on Indigenous people, especially women, often using the trickster figures of Coyote and Raven as a foundation.
