Evan Lee

Evan Lee is a Vancouver based artist who is known for his experimental approach to photography, which incorporates a range of techniques (including using scanners in place of conventional cameras, and mixing photography with painting and drawing) towards a consideration of the social and conceptual possibilities of the form. Lee graduated from the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at The University of British Columbia in 1997 and the Master of Fine Arts in 2000. Since graduation, he has had solo exhibitions at the Richmond Art Gallery, Presentation House Gallery, and CSA space (among other venues), and has participated in group exhibitions in locations including Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Shanghai.
