File contains images related to the "Image Bank". Image Bank was established in 1969 by Michael Morris and Vincent Trasov. Image Bank was an international network of artists exchanging and communicating ideas, ephemera, information, research, and images through the postal system. Ant Farm was an avant-garde artist collective from San Francisco, founded by architects Chip Lord and Doug Michels. "Fat City" refers to artist Lowell Darling's project "Fat City School for Finds Art" an unaccredited institution that grants free masters degrees and PhD's. File contains images of Lowell Darling handing out diplomas, as well as portraits of other Image Bank associates.
