Scope & Content

Subseries is composed of textual records, photographic prints, negatives, and slides related to Itter's exhibition and performance The Float at the Or Gallery in Vancouver that occurred October 21 - November 18, 1995. The installation included a video of Itter and other artists floating one of Itter's assemblages in the Burrard Inlet. The other artists involved were Dominique Fraikin, Jill Fraser, Maxine Gadd, Madonna Hamel, Beatrix Schalk, Esther Rausenberg, Jehanne Rogowski, Rhoda Rosenfeld, Trudy Rubenfeld, Aki Yakimoto, and Helen Yeomans.
